Manje Bistre 2 is the sequel to the 2017 Punjabi film Manje Bistre, directed by Baljit Singh Deo. Released in 2019, the film continues the blend of comedy, drama, and romance that made the first movie popular, but this time with a different setting and storyline.

In Manje Bistre 2, Sukhi, played by Gippy Grewal, travels to Canada to attend his cousin’s wedding. Unlike the first film, which was set in a traditional Punjabi village, this sequel explores the Punjabi diaspora in Canada, focusing on how they try to maintain their cultural traditions while adapting to life in a foreign land.

The movie follows Sukhi as he navigates through the challenges of organizing a traditional Punjabi wedding in Canada. Along the way, he encounters a series of humorous and chaotic situations, meeting various quirky characters, and dealing with cultural clashes.

The central plot revolves around Sukhi's attempts to collect the traditional wedding items, or "manje bistre," while dealing with the misunderstandings and comedic mishaps that arise. Amidst all this, Sukhi also develops a romantic interest in a girl he meets in Canada.

The film, like its predecessor, is filled with vibrant music, colorful visuals, and light-hearted humor, all while portraying the importance of maintaining cultural roots and family values, even when living abroad.
